Re-enactment & Historical Potter

Illustrated on this page are examples of just some of Kate’s work.  Don’t see what you want?

Please contact Kate to discuss what you need: 07740 291457,

or email  kate@bodgersfarmpottery.co.uk

Over the past 25 years Kate’s love of ancient pottery has led her research from Neolithic up to the Tudor period using
various archeological publications and published museum data about collections of historic pottery.

All her pottery for re-enactment is designed to be used and will often be fired to higher temperatures creating hard-wearing pottery but remaining true to the shape and design of the original. The interior of the pots can be glazed for hygiene or left unglazed as were the originals.

Replica pottery for museum display is made and fired as closely as possible to the original and is based on historical research and archeological drawings.

Commissions can be taken from drawings, diagrams and photographs.

Kate carries a reasonable stock in her studio (and you are welcome to visit – see the Home Page)

If the pot you want has to be made, please allow six to eight weeks for delivery.
